Introducción: El texto aquí es una carta personal de un hombre en México a su esposa en Sevilla, España. La fecha de la carta es el 26 de junio de 1564.
Esta carta viene del libro “Cartas de particulares en Indias del siglo XVI. Edición y estudio discursivo” (Fernandez Alcaide, 2009), que contiene un corpus de 640 cartas personales del Archivo General de Indias de Sevilla.
